“It was great to be a part of this delegation where we could represent Bangladeshi software industry in a technologically advanced country like Japan. What we observed there is that Bangladeshi software companies have a very good scope of work in Japan. There are a few major competitor countries like Vietnam, Philippine, and China. But if we can show Japan good quality work and commitment Bangladesh has a very bright future in Japan. Language is also a notable barrier there but learning the Japanese language can make the work process very easy.”

“We have seen many potential business opportunities in the Japan market for Bangladeshi IT companies. Japanese customers are now very much positive about outsourcing from Bangladesh. Bangladeshi IT industry has managed to grab their attention due to goodwill in the global outsourcing market. Our government’s different initiatives for IT industry and events like BASIS Softexpo has made a good impression in their mind.”
