We are proud of Tahmina Khatoon who got the chance to attend this prestigious event as a honor for achieving the 3rd position in the second batch of Advanced Certificate for Management Professionals (ACMP) training arranged by IBA (DU). ACMP training is an initiative of IBA (DU), in collaboration with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)- Delhi and Indian Institute of Management (IIM) – Ahmedabad to provide future business leaders with the much-required knowledge and skills to help them grow faster. Therefore, Tahmina flew to Dubai on the mid week of October to see how fast the technology is changing. After coming back to Dhaka she shared her wonderful experience of GITEX fair with BS23 Marketing Team. And here’s the brief of that conversation-

“GITEX was a great learning experience for me. It helped me to get connected with tech pioneers from around the world. I got to see many innovative softwares, robots and amazing AR/VR products. Like, In one of the stalls a medical robot which can interact with human, detect their health issues and prescribe medicine really caught my attention. I liked the software called 3D for medical which can show the anatomy of a human body in 3D format and can make anyone feel the real human body while someone touches them using AR/VR technology. Apart from these path breaking technologies, there were many fun experiences as well. For example, playing games with robots, virtual space travel around Saudi Arabia using AR/VR, 360-degree IGLOO tour and many other fun items. Overall with all these experiences, my three days of GITEX in Dubai was really some experience that i would cherish forever.” said Tahmina.
