First AWS Developers Meetup Dhaka

Amazon Web Services User Group Bangladesh, the official community of  AWS users and developers of Bangladesh recently organized the First AWS  Developers meetup of Bangladesh for the first time. The event took place in Dhaka on 31st May 2019. The event was very special, not only because it was the first of its kind but the event was glorified by the presence of the several cloud experts from different industries and AWS Solution Architect from AWS Australia.

In 2017, AWS comprised more than 90 services spanning a wide range including computing, storage, networking, database, analytics, application services, deployment, management, mobile, developer tools, and tools for the Internet of Things. The most popular include Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3).

Amazon markets AWS to subscribers as a way of obtaining large scale computing capacity more quickly and cheaply than building an actual physical server farm. All services are billed based on usage, but each service measures usage in varying ways. As of 2018, AWS owns a dominant 32% of the cloud (IaaS, PaaS) market.
